About the role
The Assessments and Partnerships Officer role sits within the Assessments and Progression team in Student and Registry Services at Bath Spa University, which covers procedures relating to Assessment Boards, alumni record enquiries, exceptional circumstances, academic misconduct cases and appeal claims.
The Assessments and Partnerships Officer’s specific portfolio is to focus on the student records for students studying at Bath Spa University’s partner educational institutions and students at our additional campuses, at an exciting time of expansion in this area at the University.
Working closely alongside an existing Assessments and Partnerships Officer role within the team, the post-holder will work together with this “mirror” role to take a lead on liaising with key contacts at the partner colleges and additional campuses, link tutors and other internal and external stakeholders. The post-holder will work to ensure that clear procedures and protocols are in place for partner institution staff and students. This includes reviewing and monitoring current processes and communication channels, agreeing assessment board schedules, maintaining accurate assessment record information on the central student information system and organising and attending Assessment Boards.
This role will take the form of blended working, both on site at our Newton Park Campus (with travel to other University sites on occasion) and working from home.
About us
Bath Spa University is focused on creative enterprise and guided by our four values of respect, inclusivity, collaboration and sustainability. Our research centres focus on creative industries and humanities. We also work with a number of partner institutions based in London and across the UK.
Our purpose is to challenge our students and staff to realise their talent and thrive, for their own benefit and for the wider good. By doing this we will think and make the world better
