The role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the University working as part of Degree Apprenticeship Office and making a significant contribution to supporting apprentices in their learning. Reporting to the Work Based Learning Lead and working as part of the Chartered Manager, Senior Leader and Project Manager delivery teams in the Business School, the successful candidate will play an incredibly important role in supporting and monitoring the progression of apprentices on these programmes.
Responsible for proactively facilitating tripartite relationship, the successful candidate will thrive in an autonomous environment and possess excellent communication and organisational skills. The successful candidate will, among other responsibilities, facilitate the progression and achievement of apprentices, provide support and advice, maintain accurate records and be the key point of contact for and between apprentices, line managers, mentors and the university apprenticeship team.
Knowledge and experience around apprenticeships would be advantageous, but is not required as training and support will be given.
Additional information
Due to the field-based nature of the role you will have access to your own transport and be able to manage a schedule of visits across several employers and attend regular meetings at the University campus. The post will be home based in the North of England for access to the campus in York, with remuneration in line with the university policy.
