You will be joining at an exciting time since this new post was created to provide an increase in operational support to address the increase in placements opportunities for students on allied health programmes. The post will support the Student Health Partnerships and Placements Manager in all financial administration operations, including the processing of payments; record keeping and reporting, and relationship management with our external health partners and other stakeholders. There will also be a requirement to work with the Practice Education Administrators in the placements team to consolidate and improve working practices.
You will need to demonstrate excellent organisation and financial administration procedural knowledge, follow processes in an accurate and pro-active manner, and be able to converse with a variety of external and internal stakeholders. You should be able to work independently and grow to be a subject matter expert to advise on financial administration processes associated with placements activity, looking to mitigate risk and create effective procedures.
We offer a generous annual leave package plus discretionary University closure days, excellent training and development opportunities as well as a great occupational pension scheme and a range of health-related support. The University is committed to a hybrid working approach.
