The School of Language, Literature, Music & Visual Culture seeks to appoint a School Administrator to lead the administration function for the cluster of Music, Film & Visual Culture, Ethnography and Folklore.
The School Administrator will be responsible for coordinating administration support for their Cluster. They will work closely with the Head of Cluster and the School Administration Manager coordinating support for strategic priorities and a range of School level Administration responsibilities. They will work with the Senior School Administrator to ensure successful delivery and support of the Cluster’s degree programmes. They will hold line management and supervisory responsibilities and will be responsible for coordinating and motivating their team, ensuring that the team is fully supported to perform successfully and autonomously in their respective roles.
Applicants should be education to undergraduate level or have experience in a similar role within a Higher Education setting. Experience of working in a busy administrative role is essential as is experience of managing conflicting priorities and excellent IT skills.
Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 5, £29,619 - £33,314 per annum with placement according to qualifications and experience.
