Faculty / Directorate
The School of Leadership, Management and Marketing, is a key component of the Leicester Castle Business School and offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to over 2,000 students. As an institution, our rapidly growing academic community delivers outstanding learning experience to students. We also have a vibrant research community. The School has two research centres; The Centre for Enterprise and Innovation (CEI – with 5 research clusters) and The People, Organisations and Work Institute (POWI).
Role
As part of our continued growth drive, we are seeking to appoint to the posts of Lecturer and Senior Lecturers in Project Management on permanent contracts. Successful candidates will be joining a large and diverse subject team whose expertise span the areas of Project Management, Operations Management, and Supply Chain Management.
The role aims to combine scholarly activity and research in pursuit of teaching excellence. The post-holders will have the opportunity to engage with a lively academic community, with a wide variety of pedagogic workshops and research seminars hosted by our research groups, as well as access to Faculty-level research support.
Ideal Candidate
Candidates must have demonstrable teaching experience in business-related discipline(s) at UG and/or PG levels. Ideally you should have a collegial approach to work and be willing to work positively within team environments. You should strive towards teaching excellence and demonstrate familiarity with innovative teaching methods and techniques. You should be innovative in your approach to teaching and willing to develop a portfolio of research activities in relevant business-related disciplines. You should also be able to work within a team and have a positive approach to team working.
