About the Role
Applications are sought for the post of Clinical Trials Coordinator for the Barts Cardiovascular Clinical Trials Unit (CVCTU) within the William Harvey Research Institute, Barts & the London Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London. You will work within a team of staff at the Barts CVCTU committed to delivering excellent clinical trials in the cardiovascular specialty. In particular your remit will be to support the trial and registry delivery initiatives for the NIHR Barts Biomedical Research Centre.
To support the Precision Digital Health, Cardiovascular Medicine and Trials theme of the NIHR Barts BRC and the CVCTU Senior Clinical Trials Coordinator in the set-up and day-to-day running of the NIHR Barts BRC delegated CVCTU trials portfolio.
About You
Candidates should have a degree in a biomedical science or associated subject, or proven experience in clinical research. Experience of all aspects of clinical research, including coordination and administration. Experience of working in MHRA regulated clinical trials involving Investigational Medicinal Products.

The Barts CVCTU sits within the William Harvey Research Institute (WHRI) at QMUL and supports the delivery of cardiovascular focused clinical research conducted within the university and the associated Barts Heart Centre at Barts Health Trust. The Barts CVCTU is a branch of the UKCRC accredited Barts CTU (ID:4).

The post is based at the Charterhouse Square Campus in London, full-time (35 hours per week), fixed-term appointment for 2 years, with an expected start date of March 2023. The starting salary will be Grade 4, in the range of £36,348 – £42,592 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
