Our £22.3m National Horizons Centre (NHC) is a key part of this mission. The NHC opened in 2019 as a national centre of excellence for innovation and training in bioscience and translational healthcare, working across the sector to provide industry-focused training, research and partnerships.
Playing a major part in driving forward the expertise and technical capabilities of the NHC, this role offers a specialism in bioinformatics and digital analytics. Working with internal and external partners, you will apply state-of-the-art bioinformatics and digital technologies to address key questions across bioprocessing, biopharmaceuticals, biotechnology and translational healthcare.
You will design experiments with academics and industrial partners, develop and deliver training in bioinformatics to internal and external partners and develop new applications and methodologies to progress the NHC’s bioinformatics research.
