This role will be based on the University campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Would you like to lead on the administration of the central equality work at the University? Do you have experience of performing office tasks such as arranging meetings, supporting team members, answering queries and managing diaries?

We are looking for a highly self-motivated and flexible individual with a positive approach to work within the much-valued central Equality & Inclusion Unit (EIU). The team are responsible for providing high quality specialist advice and guidance to contribute to mainstreaming and embedding equality and inclusion throughout the University.
Working as part of the Equality and Inclusion Unit, you will provide administrative support to colleagues including diary management, meeting organisation, and the preparation of documents. You will ensure the effective and efficient running of the Unit and its activities and be the first point of contact for equality and inclusion enquiries, liaising with members of the team to signpost individuals to appropriate guidance, or referring more complex queries to the team to resolve.
You will need strong administrative and communication skills, the ability to complete tasks quickly and to a high standard, and have an organised and flexible approach to work. An ability to work with minimal supervision while supporting the Director of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, is also required.
