An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager in the Robertson Centre for Biostatistics (RCB). The Business Development Manager will lead on business development, improvement and marketing requirements, identifying and pursuing new opportunities and building effective communications, relationships and processes that will ensure that RCB remains internationally competitive and financially sustainable.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Projects and Quality, the Director of Operations and the Director of RCB, as well as other senior Centre staff, to drive forward RCB’s pivotal role at the centre of clinical trials activity in the University of Glasgow and as a cornerstone of the Glasgow CTU. They will promote effective collaborative relationships with stakeholders at local, national and international level, providing high level input to the current operation and future shape of the Robertson Centre.
The Centre is exploring new and innovative ways of working and looking for an innovator to join an enthusiastic, experienced team. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to have a pivotal role in taking the Centre forward and to help build on its already outstanding contribution to research.
The Centre is part of the Glasgow Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) and a key research centre in the College of MVLS in the University of Glasgow, with an international reputation at the forefront of clinical research and with exciting potential for development and growth.
This post is full time and fixed term for 3 years.
