We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated IT desktop support analyst (known at the University as IT Support Analyst) to join our IT Services Division.

With a can do attitude, you'll play a vital role in supporting users both remotely and desk-side, with most of your work being escalated from our IT Service Desk. You'll support both staff and student computers providing a quick response to standard day-to-day issues and requests for hardware and software, as well as engaging with project work such as our desktop replacement program.

This role is an opportunity for you to grow and develop your experience in 2nd line support within a large environment across both Mac and Windows technologies.

Though you'll be based at our Elephant & Castle campus, occasional travel to other UAL sites may be required.

Your profile 

  • Experience with Windows and/or Mac hardware maintenance and fault-finding on desktops, laptops and printers is essential
  • Ability in deploying, configuring and managing Mac OSX or Windows 10/11 is essential
  • Knowledge of networking technologies both wired and wireless would be advantageous
  • Experience supporting MS Office/Active Directory/Mobile Devices
  • Exposure to enterprise tools such as JamfPro and ZenWorks would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of Helpdesk / Service Desk call logging / Service Management software will be an advantage
  • Experience with ITIL would be advantageous
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work at University sites on occasion across London is essential
