Working as part of Vice Chancellors Office, you will provide general administrative support to the central University Health & Safety Unit (HSU). 

The main duties will involve managing diaries, arranging meetings, monitoring and maintaining the team email account, administering the University’s accidents/incidents reporting system and personal safety app (SafeZone), and maintaining relevant records for tasks undertaken by the HSU.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated self-starter to help the University meet and surpass its statutory obligations for health and safety and ensuring staff and students of the University of Greenwich are healthy and safe.

Therefore, the ability to provide administrative support in such an environment is essential.

The ideal candidate will have previous administrative experience in a busy office environment, including experience of working to tight deadlines, maintaining records and implementing systems/procedures containing confidential / sensitive information. They will also have good interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work both on their own initiative and collaboratively within the team.
