The International Student Compliance team at Coventry University works with Faculties, subsidiaries and professional services across the University in order to comply with the Home Office regulatory requirements surrounding student visa licensing. The post holder will provide extensive support/advice to staff and students alike whilst continually ensuring that compliance is at the forefront of this vital area of University business.
This post is responsible for working with administrators within our International Student Compliance team and will also feed into the wider Registry remit of the University, delivering fundamental compliance related operational activities in support of international enrolment, and on behalf of faculties and schools. Working closely with the Principal Registry Officer(s), Assistant Registrar and a wide variety of other team members, to ensure effective policies and processes for international students.
You should have excellent customer care skills and a proactive approach, with the ability to problem solve within a team environment. You will be organised, with excellent administrative and communication skills, both written and oral. Being able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
You will be educated to degree level with a professional qualification and/or extensive administrative experience. You will have line management experience. Experience of working within an educational environment would be an advantage. This is a permanent full-time role and flexibility to working hours on occasion will be required.
