Arts University Plymouth is seeking a motivated individual to join the Registry team to support all areas of central academic administration, with a focus on student finance for both Further and Higher Education.
You will work closely with the Head of HE Registry and the wider Registry team to deliver a high quality and efficient service to students and staff.
Day to day you will be dealing with student and staff queries, monitoring and maintaining academic and student records and responding to requests for information from students, staff and external bodies. You will provide advice and guidance to prospective and enrolled students on all areas of student finance, including loans, bursaries and hardship funds.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a strong customer focus and understanding of the needs of students and staff, administrative and computing skills (including MS Office, Google Apps, databases), with the ability to work to a high level of accuracy. You will need excellent communication skills to be able to deal with a range of customers. You will need to be adaptable to different situations and should be well organised and methodical in your approach. Relevant experience in a Higher Education setting, including dealing with student finance, would be a distinct advantage.
