Working with our Psychology team you will be primarily responsible for the delivery of teaching, module leadership and depending on experience HEI supervision on the PG Diploma in Education Mental Health Practitioner and/or other CYP IAPT programmes such as Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner in CYP IAPT depending on experience. There is also possibility of contributing to other programmes we offer such as our MSc CAMH and MSc CCYP.
We want you to be able to carry out your work in a way that best supports UON and our students, but also you as an individual. We understand this may vary between different areas of the university as well as from one person to another. About you
You should be a team player and a highly motivated individual. You will have a relevant PG qualification to practice as a CBT therapist OR a Qualified EMHP OR a Qualified PWP. Additionally, you should be accredited or eligible to work towards accreditation with relevant professional bodies such as the BABCP or UKCP. You will preferably have clinical experience delivering supervision, and ideally of working in mental health and/or counselling contexts with children, young people and families.

The Psychology and Sociology Subject Area at the University of Northampton is a large, collegiate and supportive department with a strong culture of student focused teaching and high impact research.
