About the Role
The School of Geography is seeking to appoint a School Administrator and Executive Assistant to the Head of School. This role will be two-fold; 1) to provide EA support to the Head of School, including diary management, meeting support, and effective management of confidential information.; 2) general administrative duties for the school, including acting as receptionist and first point of contact for external enquiries, ordering office and other suppliers, and assisting with arrangements school events and other high-profile meetings.
About You
You will have experience of working in an administrative role, preferably in a University or similar organization, providing effective support to an academic, or similar, department. You will also have experience of working with committees, knowledge of HR and finance systems/processes and a keen understanding of confidentiality where appropriate. You will have excellent communication and organisation skills, the ability to work on a wide portfolio of activities, and confidence to work with a wide range of stakeholders.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is a full-time (35 hours per week), permanent appointment. The starting salary will be Grade 3, in the range of £29,642 to £36,348 gross per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
