Based in central Cambridge, we are looking for a dedicated analyst focused on, and leading the business intelligence analysis, collation of rankings data, and accreditation processes for the Business School. Working closely with colleagues across the School, the role holder will design, develop and deliver reports and information to external international rankings and accreditation bodies; and provide business intelligence analysis to the CJBS leadership team to enable the most effective use of data to drive business decision making, change and strategic planning to support internal and external initiatives.
The role holder must have the ability to develop a high level of understanding of information management methodologies and the most effective methods to capture and manage comprehensive sets of data and information. The role holder will take a proactive and innovative approach to continuous improvement, evaluating and working with colleagues on the effectiveness of existing processes.
Educated to degree level, the ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in analysing and manipulating large data sets and developing complex database queries. We are looking for an individual who is results-driven, well organised with a high degree of initiative and ability to plan and have proven experience of providing insights to inform business decisions. The successful candidate must have a proven record of working effectively with both internal and external stakeholders and being able to write and present statistical information clearly and logically to leadership teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a prerequisite for this role along with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships at all levels. The successful candidate must be highly organised, have advanced critical thinking skills and a passion for data and information.
