The Project Manager role is integral to the delivery of this hugely exciting and strategically significant, £multi-million initiative, which is to be delivered in collaboration with external partners over the next 2 years. This project is to support the development of a new academic programme delivered in partnership with the University of Bath.

Effective engagement with internal and external partners at all levels of seniority are essential to being successful.

This role is available on a full time, fixed term basis for 2 years, though part-time working (min. 0.8 FTE) would be considered for the right candidate. The role will be based in Bath, with flexible working arrangements (minimum 2 days a week on campus). Occasional travel may be required.

  • experience in health related programmes maybe beneficial but is not essential

The role within the SPO

About the SPO

Strategic Projects Office (SPO) is a relatively new function, created to help deliver the ambitious University Strategy. You will have an opportunity to help shape the change and project management approach across the University. Being part of the SPO soon after its inception will suit candidates that can think strategically, with strong planning skills and focus on operational delivery.

This is an exciting time to join the University and play an active part in delivering the new strategy, which is broad in scope, with highly ambitious objectives. It builds on the University’s strengths, driving excellence in education and high impact research, fostering an outstanding and inclusive community and enhancing our strategic partnerships, whilst responding to the wider Higher Education sector shifts, including the changing student and staff needs and expectations.
