The University of South Wales is an innovative, thriving and sustainable institution that is making a significant contribution to the economic, social and cultural prosperity of the region. Our core purpose is to add value to students and organisations, through applied research and innovation, and through engagement with the economy and society of our region and the wider world.
Due to an exciting, innovation driven programme of learning the University is now seeking to appoint a new member of academic staff to deliver postgraduate and professional courses in leading digital transformation as part of an Intensive Learning Academy Welsh Government Award for the Health and Social Care sector. The post will be based at our Pontypridd campus but will mainly be working remotely to reflect the nature of the project.
Applicants should be qualified to at least Masters level (or of equivalent professional status) and must have excellent subject knowledge of digital innovation and transformation. This may include digital innovations, transformational change, knowledge of new technology and developments within the digital sector, and an understanding of the role of innovation with the wider economic ecosystem.
We are interested to hear from individuals who have a proven track record of delivering a first-class student experience, collaborating with industry, and have an awareness of the current environment and challenges within the private and public organisations to support future curriculum developments.
Successful candidates will work with the course leader and programme team to drive further curriculum development and deliver against key performance indicators.
We welcome enquiries prior to application - for an informal discussion about these opportunities please contact Mark Jackson, Associate Dean Faculty of Business and Creative Industries via mark.jackson@southwales.ac.uk
