The School
York Business School was officially launched in 2018 following over 25 years of the delivery of Business and Management education at York St John University. York Business School is an ambitious and innovative business school where students at the centre of everything that we do. We have over 1,700 students across our suite of programmes running in York, London and in partnership with our National and International partners. Our burgeoning national and international research profile, excellent teaching and learning, and welcoming and inclusive ethos supports an exceptional student experience.
The role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer to contribute to our vibrant undergraduate and postgraduate portfolio.
The majority of your work will involve teaching in a variety of settings, including small group tutorials/seminars and lectures; assessment; and the provision of pastoral and academic support to students. We are passionate about our students and they are at the forefront of everything we do. We work to ensure that our courses are delivered in partnership with industry, embedding work-readiness, practical skills and digital literacy so an interest in these areas is vital.
Key requirements
Candidates will have expertise in teaching Project Management at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level. The successful candidate will be supported in cultivating an outstanding research profile in Project Management or a related field. It is essential that candidates hold a doctoral level qualification or are near completion.
