About the Role
The post holder will project manage all aspects of the Genes & Health Industry Consortium, whose partners includes at least 6 pharmaceutical companies and three academic institutions. The post holder will have a critical role in supporting the rapid expansion and delivery of consortium activities, and the delivery of a world-leading health research resource.
About You
We’re seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Industry Consortium Project Manager to deliver research projects involving industry collaborators. An undergraduate degree in a relevant field and a project management qualification are essential. Candidate require significant experience delivering large scale research projects, managing research budgets, and reviewing research contracts. We particularly welcome applications from people who identify as Black, Asian or Other ethnicity categories as this group underrepresented at this level at Queen Mary.
About the Institute
The Blizard Institute was established in 2003 and is one of six Institutes within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, QMUL. The Institute comprises approximately 350 staff based in four academic Centres and one Public Engagement Centre, and supports a combined total of c750 postgraduate research and taught students. The Institute aims to deliver excellence in all aspects of research, teaching and clinical service.

The post is based at the Whitechapel Campus in London. It is a part time/full time (28-35 hours per week), fixed term appointment for 3 years, with an expected start date of early 2023. The starting salary will be Grade 6, in the range of £50,047 - £55,805 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
