The Registry and Student Administration department welcome applications from enthusiastic and proactive administrators to join our team of Distance Learning and Executive Education administration professionals, who collectively provide a high-quality administrative support service, to students, staff and external stakeholders.
This pivotal role requires you to carry out a broad range of administrative processes to support the delivery of all aspects of the student journey from arrival and enrolment, attendance and engagement monitoring, assessment and confirmation of marks, through to award and graduation. As well as providing an excellent support service to students, staff and external stakeholders through the provision of a timely and responsive customer service, and comprehensive and accurate information and guidance.
You will have a good standard of general education, including GCSE English and Maths or equivalent. You will have a flexible and proactive approach to providing a comprehensive administrative service in a busy office environment supporting students, staff and external stakeholders across a varied programme portfolio. You will have excellent administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to work efficiently and accurately and be able to assess a situation and take appropriate follow-up action within a framework of policy and procedure. You will have excellent IT skills and be adept at learning new systems quickly. You will be able to prioritise your workload and be able to deal with multiple priorities and deadlines across the academic year.
Upon appointment, the successful candidate will receive a comprehensive induction to the role, complemented by both informal peer support and training, as well as formal training and developed delivered by our Organisational Development Team.
