About us: UWE Bristol Law School is a leading UK provider of legal education offering the full suite of academic and professional law courses. 

Our College of Business and Law has been purpose built to provide the best possible environment in which to learn. Bristol Law School offers state of the art facilities, including two mock courtrooms, modern Harvard lecture theatres and teaching spaces, a Legal Resource Room, and a dedicated Business Advice Clinic, where our law students undertake a range of Pro Bono work supervised by Solicitors or Barristers. 

The vacancy:

The post holder will join a vibrant and growing team who are engaged in a broad range of scholarly activities and research.  

We are looking for innovative, inclusive and collaborative individuals to join our Law School at UWE Bristol to teach across our academic, practice-led, research informed academic programmes as well as provide dissertation and project support.

About you: We are expanding our team and are looking for a new colleague who can engage and inspire a diverse cohort of students, who is innovative and inclusive with excellent communication skills and a passion for people. 

You must have sufficient breadth and depth of subject knowledge in at least two of the following areas:

  • Land Law
  • Equity and Trusts
  • Criminal Law
  • Law of Tort

This could be gained through scholarship, research or professional practice and you should be accomplished in teaching in a higher / further education sector and / or training in a professional setting.
