Finance provides high quality professional service to students, staff and external stakeholders. We are looking to appoint a Payroll Manager responsible for managing the day to day payroll services of the University, heading up a small team and working closely with Human Resources and the wider University. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated professional individual with the ability to problem solve, meet deadlines and ensure the smooth, efficient running of the Team, whilst also delivering excellent customer service. Reporting to the Head of Payroll you will be responsible for delivering outcomes on time you will also assist in driving continuous improvement of Payroll processes and systems. You will strong and effective working relationships internally across the Directorate and with HR Business Partners to ensure best practice.
Candidates should hold the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals qualification or equivalent and have demonstrable experience of working in a technical Payroll environment and managing a Team.
