The Faculty of Engineering & Science is one of four faculties at the University of Greenwich, split across two campuses – the Medway Campus in Chatham Maritime, Kent, and the Greenwich Campus in Greenwich, London. Dedicated to inspirational learning, combining teaching with work placements and impactful research and is a complete hub for all STEM subjects within the University.

We are seeking to appoint 2 Faculty Executive Officers to provide administrative and secretarial support, to our 3 Head of Schools, as a team.

We have two positions available totalling 1.6 FTE

  • 2 x 0.8 FTE or
  • 1 FTE and 1 x 0.6 FTE totalling 1.6 FTE

Working within the wider Executive Admin Team, the role carries a broad and varied remit and would suit applicants who are keen to develop a professional career within a higher education executive support role.

The successful candidates must have relevant administrative and/or secretarial experience (including diary management and committee servicing); ability to organise and successfully manage high-profile events; demonstrate collaborative working across different functional areas; be able to establish and maintain good working relationships with internal and external contacts at all levels to contribute to an efficient support service; and poses excellent interpersonal and customer care skills. 

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to be principally based at either our Medway or Greenwich campuses with the expectation to regularly work from the other campus one or two days per week, on a rota basis.
