Location: College Lane Campus, University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield

Main duties and responsibilities 

The Deputy Team Leader role will support the assistant administrators, covering frontline / reception duties and will be responsible for supervising the administration staff. The role will work with Dean of Students SBU to allocate and prioritise workload on a regular basis and will liaise with managers to ensure the services are efficiently and effectively providing the best outcomes to students and staff within Student Wellbeing and to the wider SBU. 

Skills and experience required

You will have appropriate proven administrative experience in a complex and dynamic organisation. You will also have the ability to demonstrate a good understanding of customer care, including a polite, helpful and confident telephone manner. A methodical approach with attention to detail and the ability to deal with sensitive material with strict confidentiality is essential.

Qualifications required

You will be educated with a minimum of A-levels or equivalent level qualification or proven professional work experience.
