Rose Bruford College one of the UK’s top drama schools with 9 centres internationally, offering programmes of study at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels are looking to recruit a Library Assistant to assist in the provision of the library service to the students and staff at our campus in Sidcup.
The post-holder will be required to assist users with a wide range of library requests including staffing the information desk, using the library management system to issue/return materials and dealing with fines. You will also open and close the Library as required and will ensure the Library is a welcoming learning environment for all its users.
Ideally, you should have experience of working within a library or a good understanding of library services within an academic environment. The ideal candidate will have good communication, interpersonal and customer relation skills along with a flexible approach to your work and the ability to work on your own initiative.
