We have a fantastic opportunity for a Lecturer in Carpentry and Joinery to join the Construction Team, where you will teach site carpentry and joinery in both the workshop and classroom environment to develop learners’ practical skills and knowledge to support achievement and progression to employment within the construction sector.
Our purpose-built campuses have superbly equipped workshops and specialist rooms, which will provide a learning environment to support both skills and behaviours that employers within the construction sector require.
We are looking for motivated people who are enthusiastic about working with young people, adults and employers and have a passion and expertise within carpentry and joinery.
As a Lecturer in Carpentry and Joinery, you should:
- Be qualified to Level 3 in Site Carpentry and Joinery
- Hold GCSE A* - C / 9 - 4 in Maths and English or level 2 equivalent
- Experience of working with 16–18-year-olds, ideally in a teaching capacity
- Experience of teaching Construction would be desirable
