The Role
Do you have the passion and drive to lead high profile, regional and national, widening participation and fair access collaborative projects?
Newcastle University is a sector leader in this area, and you will work closely with senior colleagues at Partner universities and sector organisations as well as providing expertise and leadership across the University for partnership working and widening participation. A substantial part of the role will focus on Realising Opportunities. This is a national collaboration involving 14 universities, improving access to research intensive universities, which has supported over 10,000 students so far. You will also lead the university's involvement in the IntoUniversity Newcastle East learning centre which the University opened in November 2021, in partnership with IntoUniversity and Northumbria University.
You will benefit from modern office working space in the heart of Newcastle City Centre and a blended working environment.
This post is a fixed term, 12-month maternity cover post, starting from 1 May 2023 or as close to this date as possible.
