Planning and Data Insight Team
The post of Planning and Data Insight Officer is a great opportunity to join a high performing, talented and professional team, responsible for the development of high-quality management information and analysis to support strategic planning, and decision making processes. In addition the team also provides essential information to external bodies. Interacting with all campuses, Faculties and delivery partners, the role of Planning and Data Insight Officer is broad and diverse. The Planning and Data Insight team sits within the Finance, Planning and Data Insight Section.
The role
The post holder is responsible for the provision of critical data analysis and insight, contributing towards the University’s decision making and supporting key processes such as analysis of Student Engagement data through the Learner Engagement Activity Portal (LEAP). You will proactively identify opportunities to increase the understanding of and engagement with data, and will have strong people and stakeholder engagement skills as this role involves liaising with Departments, Schools, Faculties and with staff from other parts of the University’s Professional Services and our partner colleges.
In addition, you will play a key role in supporting cross-functional projects and will work closely with colleagues in the Finance, Planning and Data Insight Section and other Professional Services, especially the Academic Section, and Communication and External Relations.
