A BBSRC funded Senior Research Associate position is available in the laboratory of Dr Stuart Rushworth at Norwich Medical School in collaboration with researchers working at the Food Microbiomes and Health programme at Quadram Institute of Bioscience.
We are looking for a highly motivated researcher to perform collaborative cross-institutions work to investigate how plant-based foods mediate modifications in the immune system through changes in gut microbiota and gut barrier function to evaluate immune cell function in response to food borne microbes.
You will use a wide range of techniques and will be able to plan, develop, execute, and analyse an independent research project.
You must have a relevant PhD research degree or equivalent professional experience in the research area, along with significant experience of independent research. Experience in immunology or cell biology would be advantageous.

The post is available from 15 May 2023 on a full-time basis for a fixed term period to 31 March 2028.
