Location; The post-holder will be primarily based on the Singleton Park Campus, but may be required to work across University sites as required
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive Senior Student Data Futures Officer based within the Academic Records and Systems, in Academic Services who will be responsible for leading the operational delivery of Data Futures student returns and provide an oversight of the collection of student data submitted to external bodies for statutory returns and ensure compliance with requirements from HESA/JISC and the OfS. The post is a pivotal role in managing system (SITS) development, supporting operations, and ensuring data is fit for purpose and complies with regulatory requirements. The post holder will ensure that academic record systems, policy and process are fit for purpose and compliant with both internal and external academic regulations and OfS guidance, as well as meeting the University’s aims to deliver efficient systems to support objectives.
Candidates should be educated to degree level or have appropriate applicable professional experience together with a strong working knowledge and experience of student records systems, preferably Tribal SITS together with experience of data collection for HESA/JISC to ensure that data is returned on time and achieves accuracy, credibility and strategic optimisation objectives. Candidates should also have experience in managing and monitoring projects to ensure the project is delivered on time and achieves stakeholder objective and have an understanding of Data Futures and the changes to the HESA data collection sector with the UK.
