We are seeking to recruit a Senior Payroll & Pensions Manager to join the HR Division. The role holder will be responsible for the delivery of an outstanding payroll and pensions service to stakeholders across the University ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
You will lead Payroll, Taxation and Pensions projects in the context of developing sound practices and procedures, ensuring professional guidance is available to staff through auditable policies, procedures and processes supported by relevant communication plans and training.
You will identify and deliver major process improvements necessary to ensure a reliable and effective payroll and pension services to the University. You will also be responsible for driving change projects that are needed to ensure efficiency or services.
The ideal candidate will have demonstratable experience in leading teams to deliver an excellent service to the University. The candidate should be CIPP Payroll Management qualified (or equivalent) and has experience in managing process improvements projects working with a range of stakeholders and technology. They will also have a strong and up-to-date knowledge of payroll, tax & pensions legislation.
Knowledge of Higher Education or public sector is desirable.
