Full time, fixed term post at 0.5 FTE until 31 December 2023.
We are seeking to recruit a research assistant to work on a programme of research funded by the EPSRC on the theme of Low-Temperature Heat Networks. The role will mainly involve research and publication of a briefing on the subject of ‘The Suitability of UK Homes for Heat Pumps’, and work on integration within the theme. This is an interdisciplinary research project with relevant activities at the University of Warwick led by Professor David Elmes in Warwick Business School (WBS). You will be based in WBS, but will also be expected to liaise with colleagues elsewhere, including other colleagues at the University of Warwick, Loughborough University, University of Ulster and London Southbank University. You will also be expected to participate in the wider activities of the Lot-NET research programme including opportunities to participate in research workshops.
You will possess a Masters degree in a relevant area of Business and Management, Politics, Energy Studies, or Human Geography (or you will shortly be obtaining it).
You should have a policy or research background in one or more of the following areas:
