Duties of the Role
Essex Food is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Assistant Operations Manager to join our busy catering team.
We are looking for a self-motivated and personable individual who has a real passion for food and customer service, to assist and support in the day to day running of our busy catering services.
You will work with the Deputy Operations Managers in delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring the outlet is ready for service, whilst following Essex Food standards and University Health and Safety and Compliance.
The role will be required to deputise and take charge when the Deputy Operations Manager is not on duty ensuring customer service targets are met all times.
Skills and Qualifications required

You will need previous experience in a catering and customer facing environment and strive in a busy and fast paced environment.
You will be have a leader with the ability to train and support your team as well as delegate tasks as appropriate whilst following the lead of the Deputy Operations Manager.
To comply with Health and Safety regulations, any offer of employment will be made subject to satisfactory University Food Handling health clearance by the University Occupational Health service.
You will be required to work 5 days out of 7 including occasional evenings and weekends.
