The role of the Market Insight Analyst offers an exciting opportunity to play a key part in the success of the institution. Based in the Planning & Analytics Office (PAO) at the heart of the University, our work helps the organisation achieve its strategic ambitions by ensuring colleagues have the in-depth understanding of the market they need to make the best possible decisions.
You will play a key role supporting portfolio development insights, competitor desk research and internal applicants and student experience surveys. The work will be varied and interesting, such as analysing a variety of data sources to uncover market trends or opportunities for developing our course portfolio, performing desk-based research to identify best practice at other institutions, or conducting applicant surveys.
As well as a curious and inquisitive disposition, experience and skill in working with large data sets will be crucial to success in this role, as will a strong focus on detail and accuracy. You will be a capable communicator, both verbally and in writing, and be able to identify and convey key messages and recommendations using a variety of insight sources . You’ll need to be a great team player as you’ll be working closely with colleagues within the team and across the organisation.
This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.
