Fourth Monkey is recruiting a Head of Academic Services to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to the Director of Training and Senior Management team, working closely with their team and colleagues to manage and enhance academic delivery.
Job Description
The Head of Academic Services will play a vital role in helping Fourth Monkey achieve its organisational objectives, including providing essential support to the Director of Training and Senior Management team in managing compliance and best practice in the coordination of student attainment and assessment, as well as compliance with OfS regulations.
They will be responsible for working closely with their team and colleagues to manage and enhance academic delivery. They will work alongside the Director of Training and their Academic Services coordinators to ensure efficient academic programming plus the resolution and management of queries from academic and training staff, students and external stakeholders, will play a key role in the planning of academic delivery and proactively ensure the provision of an efficient and professional service for students and academic staff.
This role would suit a hardworking, passionate and enthusiastic individual with ideally a minimum of 3 years' experience of working in an academic services role at a senior level, a proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) systems, excellent communication skills, attention to detail and organisational skills.

It's an exciting time to be joining the Fourth Monkey team; since marking our 10-year anniversary in 2020 whereby our two-year training course was successfully accredited as our BA (Hons) Acting Accelerated Degree, we have subsequently added the recently accredited CertHE Acting & Theatre Making and MA Collaborative Theatre to our training provision. We also offer free school and community workshops throughout the UK and a programme of workshops and courses for professional actors and those new to acting to explore a wide range of creative practices, skills and disciplines.
