We have an exciting opportunity for an initiative-taker, team player and highly organised individual in the Research Business and Innovation team
In this role you can expect to collaborate closely with a team of Grant & Award Support Coordinators and Officers to support academics with applications for research funding, as well as helping them to set up and run their research projects. The skills and experience to work as a grant & Award Hub Officer can be acquired, but team members must be able to communicate, think creatively and put our customers at the heart of everything we do.
We believe that the diversity of our staff enhances the strength of our community; recognising the value in our differences and celebrating them enables us and the individuals who work here to thrive. If you would like to work in an office where differences are valued with a caring, inclusive culture then we would love to hear from you.
About you
Positive and initiative-taking you are driven to provide an excellent standard of customer service and enjoy working as part of a team. Confident in providing specialist knowledge on research funders and applications for funding, you will support academics to secure research grants, contributing towards the University Transforming Futures 2030 Research Strategy. As a member of the Grant & Award Hub you will provide a high-quality end-to-end service to academics, colleagues, and other university service departments.
