We are looking for passionate HR Partners to join our high performing HR Partner Team, one on a permanent basis and one as a fixed term contract until the end of Febuary 2024. The HR Partner role aligns and works in partnership across a portfolio of departments to provide business insight, manage people risks and develop people solutions. You will be responsible for the delivery of expert, professional HR advice and will partner closely with managers to support on all people matters including, recruitment and selection, performance management and employee relations.
You will also lead on wider activities across HR such as policy and process development in line with employment legislation and best practice, job evaluation and taking an active role in training and upskilling managers across the University.
In this people facing role you will need excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to quickly build relationships, persuade, influence and articulate complex information in an accessible way, and present to a range of audiences. You will also have a proven track-record of working in HR at a professional, partnering level, demonstrable experience of successfully supporting managers through complex employee relations issues and strong applied knowledge of up-to-date employment legislation. CIPD level 5 (or demonstrable equivalent experience) is essential for this role and CIPD Level 7 (or demonstrable equivalent experience) is desirable.

These positions are both full-time working 37 hours per week, one position is on a permanent basis, the second position is on a fixed-term basis until 29 February 2024 to cover a period of absence.
