We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Fellow to make a leading contribution to the School of Cardiovascular & Metabolic Health to develop an internationally competitive independent research programme as lead scientist focussing on cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.
The successful candidate’s programme will be relevant to the research portfolio of the School, in line with the recent strategic focus on cardiac, metabolic and vascular diseases, and in collaboration with principal investigators in these areas of research.
We invite applications from early career researchers with a strong desire to develop an independent research portfolio. We are looking for colleagues who have acquired substantial experience in their early postdoctoral career, including research, supervision, mentorship and academic citizenship. Successful candidates will be in a position to secure major research funding, ideally in the form of an intermediate fellowship.
