The University of Liverpool is looking to appoint a Business Support Officer, working in Liverpool Shared Research Facilities (LIV-SRF) within the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences.
This is a great opportunity for a senior administrator/project officer to be part of a successful team that supports cutting-edge research facilities within the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences. This is a key role in the LIV-SRF Team, pivotal to the work of the unit as well as providing support to the wider Technology, Infrastructure and Environment Directorate (TIED).
Reporting to the LIV-SRF Business Manager, the postholder will possess excellent internal communications and organisational skills, including the ability to run and supervise projects, and build relationships and networks across our Shared Research Facilities, the Faculty and the wider University. LIV-SRF is a dynamic business unit providing a wide range of professional support to a diverse suite of high-end research facilities and so the work is always interesting and varied.
It’s an exciting time to join the team as plans develop for LIV-SRF to operate as a pan-institutional unit, working with colleagues in the Faculties of Science and Engineering and Humanities and Social Sciences.
You will have a degree (or equivalent) qualification or relevant professional experience along with evidence of a commitment to continued professional development.
The University values diversity and is committed to equality of opportunity.
