Department
The Department of Education is seeking to appoint three Senior Resource Developers/Subject Reviewers in Science Education, one in each of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. You will join the internationally recognised University of York Science Education Group (UYSEG). The posts are part time (0.4FTE) and available from September 2023 for one year.
Role
You will be working on the development of research-informed resources for Oak National Academy for school students aged 11-16. You will be working as part of a team led by Alistair Moore and Peter Fairhurst, the senior project staff for UYSEG’s highly regarded Best Evidence Science Teaching (BEST) project.
You will have extensive classroom experience of teaching your subject at ages 11-16, and of developing resources for use by colleagues in a school/schools (e.g. a responsibility for developing resources for a Key Stage and/or developing resources to support a Scheme of Work).
