We are looking for a Governance and Compliance Manager to be responsible for the management and secretariat of our Board and Committees; ensuring appropriate and effective governance and reporting processes are observed and complied with consistently across the Union. The post holder will be leading effective communications, championing, and training, across the organisation on governance, safeguarding and compliance.
The role is a full-time and permanent contract.
Key Requirements
Do you have knowledge and understanding of charity governance structures and practice? Have you got previous experience of managing people, budgets and processes to achieve objectives?
The post holder will be there to act as a key point of contact for the matters relating to governance, safeguarding and compliance, providing advice and support to the Leadership Team, Board of Trustees and its committees. The successful candidate will need to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships with University staff and external authorities. The post holder will also be responsible for maintaining, reviewing and developing governance, safeguarding and compliance policies and procedures.
