SPARK The Midlands – In Vitro Diagnostic Regulatory Affairs Specialist
Aston University is seeking to appoint a specialist in In Vitro Diagnostic Regulatory (IVDR) affairs to serve as a key member of staff for the expanded Midlands SPARK Innovation Accelerator.
The successful candidate will provide expert support to translational and preclinical development projects led by academics, clinicians, and industry partners across 15 Midlands universities. They will ensure that regulatory strategies for diagnostic technologies are robust, investor-ready, and fully compliant with IVDR requirements as well as relevant international standards.
The role will encompass providing regulatory advice to multiple project teams and regional SMEs, facilitating the accelerated development of innovative diagnostic solutions towards clinical evaluation and market access.
The postholder will report directly to the SPARK UK Director and work in close collaboration with the broader SPARK Midlands and Midlands Innovation teams.
This role meets the requirements for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship, including salary and job eligibility.
