We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor with an academic or professional track-record in the field of Supply Chain and Operations Management. You will join our Supply Chain & Trade Discipline Group focussed on delivering a broad range of high quality of teaching in the areas of supply chain, operations and international trade. The successful candidate will hold significant professional or academic experience of Supply Chain and Operations Management. Experience of topics such as sustainable supply chain management, the circular economy, logistics and operations management, supply chain digitisation and data analytics would be advantageous.
For roles at Assistant Professor level the successful candidate will hold a doctorate, or equivalent professional qualification alongside a postgraduate degree, and have experience of teaching in a higher education context.
This role is on the University of Warwick Teaching Career Pathway, providing opportunities for advancement up to and including Professor level. This is an education focussed appointment and we are looking for candidates who can demonstrate experience of teaching in higher education and a passion for impactful education and positive student outcomes. Candidates with a track record in research outputs but limited educational experience are unlikely to be shortlisted for this role.
