This is a part-time (0.6FTE) role. The weekly hours for this role are 22.5 and can be worked flexibly.

The role of Marketing Coordinator is an excellent opportunity to work in Lancaster University’s marketing team, working closely with the Faculty Marketing Manager to develop and deliver end-to-end student recruitment activities for the Faculty of Health and Medicine.

You will have some experience in marketing. This may be delivering email campaigns; copywriting content for print, web or social media; brand development and management; or planning and strategic marketing. We welcome applicants from client-side, agency-side, and recent graduates in related fields such as design, marketing, or advertising.

Excellent IT skills are essential. You will be comfortable with content management systems and adaptable in learning new ones. You will be proficient in using the Adobe CC suite of creative tools (or similar), and you will have used the native ad managers across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

Detail and accuracy are essential, as is good time-management. Project management is frequently required within the role and the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate some experience in this regard. The successful candidate will be self-starting, display initiative, and be able to prioritise and manage a diverse workload. You will be confident in communicating with a range of people at different levels across the institution. The successful candidate will bring enthusiasm and creativity to the role.
