We are recruiting for an exceptional individual to join the Mother and Infant Research Unit (MIRU) as a research fellow.
A unique opportunity has arisen for a Research Fellow to develop their career in a new post which is a strategic investment to strengthen research in maternal and child health and care. You will work with Professor Alison McFadden to conduct high quality research in one or more research themes within MIRU: quality midwifery care, infant feeding, perinatal mental health, positive and adverse childhood experiences.
We collaborate widely with academic and professional colleagues, and with service users, third sector, and community stakeholders and groups, locally, nationally and internationally. The School of Health Sciences has a vibrant academic community, with a skilled and enthusiastic team, delivering a range of education programmes and undertaking world-leading research that directly enhances health outcomes.
The School achieved outstanding results in the Allied Health Professionals Unit of Assessment of the Research Excellence Framework 2021 being ranked 16th overall and 4th in Scotland.
