We have an exciting opportunity to join the Digital and Marketing team at the University of Nottingham as Corporate Marketing Manager for Research.

We are looking for a talented and experienced marketing manager with the expertise and passion to develop and manage engaging integrated campaigns for a range of internal and external audiences, to strengthen the university’s research reputation. 

This role will require you to work on a range of campaigns: setting objectives and KPIs to establish focus and measure outcomes, leading the creative development of assets whilst managing external suppliers, commissioning market insight to understand market conditions and audiences, developing tactics and selecting channels to maximise reach and engage stakeholders and adapting activity to improve future campaigns.  

You will manage campaigns that support recruitment of our world leading researchers, highlight the impact of our research against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, engage our research community and advocates by communicating our research strategy aims and amplify our expertise in key research themes.  

As well as being our research marketing expert, you’ll also take a significant role in managing the university’s brand and develop communications, tools and resources to enable effective implementation of the brand to strengthen the university’s position as a leading global institution. 

We are looking for a candidate:

  • with strong digital marketing and communications skills 
  • who is a creative thinker with the ability to problem solve
  • has excellent project management skills with the dexterity to reprioritise and pivot focus as required 
  • who can make data-based decisions to set objectives, KPIs and inform marketing activity 
  • who is an expert communicator with the skills to build positive stakeholder relationships

This position is offered on a permanent basis. Hours are full time (36.25 hours per week). Job share arrangements may be considered.
