Our industry links are second to none and we have developed excellent connections with the corporate community and organisations such as Scottish Enterprise, and the Chamber of Commerce. We also act as official advisers to the Scottish Government.

We are currently recruiting a Lecturer in Research Methods for Business Management with particular emphasis on development and delivery of distance learning materials. This position is also open to ambitious Early Career Academics with whom we will generate development plans aligned to our career pathways on our Early Career Academic Development Programme.

The Role:

As Lecturer in Research Methods, you will have the opportunity to play a significant role in supporting and developing the delivery of postgraduate research methods in business and management, with specialism in either qualitative or quantitative methods. This will put you in an excellent position to contribute to the ongoing development and delivery of our on-campus and distance learning postgraduate and MBA portfolios whilst supporting our ambitious growth plans.

As part of the Management Subject Group, this will see you joining an ambitious, growing team consisting of academics on Enterprise, Learning and Teaching, Professional Practice, and Research pathways, who make significant contributions across all strands of endeavour.

The post will also provide you with the remit to influence the direction of our diverse and vibrant curriculum going forward and become involved in both module and programme leadership, providing contribution to our business and management portfolio.

Similarly, you will be in an excellent position to use your knowledge and experience to take responsibility for developing, designing and delivering teaching and student-centred learning underpinned by academic scholarship and professional practice, within your assigned areas of responsibility.
