This is a senior leadership role for a significant and critical area of the business at the University of Sheffield where you will act as a senior decision maker within the Student Recruitment, Marketing and Admissions service at the University of Sheffield.
You will have knowledge and experience of student admissions gained in a senior role within Higher Education or a similar sector. You’ll be an inspirational leader with demonstrable experience in collaborative working with a multitude of internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be committed to working in an innovative fashion and have the confidence and ability to challenge and develop traditional ways of working in order to enhance service provision.
Working both strategically and operationally with colleagues as well as leading our teams, you’ll ensure that the university continues to widening participation and access to Higher Education by developing their Access and Participation Plan (APP) and achieving key targets as milestones. You’ll develop policy and best practice in widening access to continuously improve service provision and student outcomes. A key focus of this role will be to increase the impact of activity in relation to access to Higher Education at the University of Sheffield from identified groups. An ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with high literacy levels, be able to digest and interpret data and have the ability to engage with and present to stakeholders at all levels. A successful candidate will have advanced senior leadership skills.
