We are seeking a Research Manager, to join us for a 12-month fixed term contract on a full-time basis.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a research professional with experience of delivering high quality research and evaluation using a range of analytical techniques to join us.
The Role
As a Research Manager, you will oversee the delivery of research, analysis and evaluation in learning, skills and employment, to support our policymakers, commissioners and practitioners.
Managing the full research lifecycle, you will implement research methodologies, lead the analysis of complex evidence and oversee the production of policy reports for a range of audiences.
Playing a leading role in distributing our research with key stakeholders, you will support the development of toolkits and other products to increase engagement and drive change in the delivery of services.
Additionally, you will:
- Promote and embed research within our policy, practice and promotion activities
- Contribute to funding proposals
- Develop relationships and networks with national and local organisations
About You
To be considered as a Research Manager, you will need:
- Experience of delivering high quality research and evaluation within timeframes and budgets
- Experience of using analytical and evaluation techniques
- The ability to develop and use appropriate methods and tools to support high quality research
- The ability to write for and speak to a range of audiences to ensure impact
- The ability to engage a range of stakeholders
- Excellent organisational and planning skills including programme, resource and performance management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
Experience of developing proposals and a proven track record of securing funding would be highly beneficial, as would knowledge of learning, skills or employment policy and practices across England and/or Wales.
